Master's in Interior Design

Aditi holds a master's degree in interior design and has spent the 3 years since in practice — the part of the work that a degree prepares you for only partly.
Formal training gives you the theory: proportion, circulation, colour, the history of why a room works. What it does not give you is the experience of standing in a half-finished space at seven in the evening working out why a ceiling detail that was correct on paper is wrong in the room. That is where the studio's actual method comes from.
The practice covers residential and commercial interiors, exterior and elevation design, and turnkey construction — deliberately, so that the person who set the intent is the person who protects it on site.
How we work
Four things the studio holds to

Plan before pattern
Layout, light and circulation are settled first. Finishes are the last decision, not the first — which is the opposite of how most projects run.

A narrow palette, held
Restricting the material range is what makes a scheme feel resolved. Three warm neutrals used well beat twelve chosen individually.

Detail survives the site
A drawing is a promise. Regular supervision is how the joinery reveal you specified is the joinery reveal that gets built.

Designed to be lived in
Storage that is actually enough. Lighting you can dim. Surfaces that age well. Beautiful is the baseline, not the achievement.

Tricity and the surrounding region
The studio takes projects across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur and Tricity. Work further afield is considered case by case — the constraint is supervision, not distance.
